The firm was founded in 1996, under the name Supersymmetry, and shared the name and a common philosophy with affiliated independent companies in Singapore and Houston, Texas. As companies and organizations in all public and private sectors began to focus more intently on energy conservation, we’ve enjoyed steady, sustained growth. To capitalize on this trend, in the spring of 2001 the company name was changed to Rumsey Engineers.
