Rumsey Engineers Awarded Green Business Certification

Oakland, Calif.— Rumsey Engineers, designers of ultra energy-efficient HVAC systems, has been certified as a Green Business by The Bay Area Green Business Program (BAGBP).

The BAGBP is a partnership of environmental agencies, professional associations, waste management agencies, utilities and a concerned public that are working together to recognize and assist businesses that operate in an environmentally friendly manner. Part of the program includes an extensive green certification program for interested businesses. To qualify for this prestigious certification, a business must meet the program's standards in areas like solid waste reduction and recycling, water conservation, energy conservation, training opportunities and customer communication.

This certification is the latest recognition Rumsey Engineers has received this year. The company has received substantial attention for their successes in assisting businesses — both in California and throughout the country — to cope with the current energy crisis by producing long term, sustainable savings through efficient HVAC system design.
