Rumsey Engineers Opens Phoenix Office

Oakland, Calif.— Rumsey Engineers, Inc., a leading Bay-area heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) design engineering firm has announced the opening of the company's first satellite office in Phoenix, Arizona.

Rumsey Engineers specializes in the design and implementation of ultra-efficient HVAC system designs, even in the most critical of environments, like those found in cleanrooms for semiconductor manufacturing. These new systems bring increased efficiency at a lower cost, often dramatically reducing a company's energy use and expenses immediately after installation.

The specialty design engineering firm is experiencing tremendous growth due in part to California's energy concerns and the company's reputation as leaders in the field. As a result, Rumsey Engineers has decided to expand their base of our operations. "After investigating several promising locations, we thought Phoenix was the most logical choice, since the area has such a high concentration of high-tech corporate and critical manufacturing facilities, " according to Peter Rumsey, founder and president of Rumsey Engineers.

The Phoenix office is located at 15650 N. Black Canyon Hwy, and headed by Dave Harsh, Rumsey's lead design engineer who will coordinate projects throughout the Southwest. According to Harsh, "Even though the office has only been open a short time, we're already fielding calls from companies all over the Valley who are interested in reducing their facility's energy costs."
