Meeting with Amory Lovins,
CEO of the Rocky Mountain Institute

Oakland, Calif—On May 31st of 2002, Rumsey Engineers office was honored
with a visit by Amory Lovins, CEO of the Rocky Mountain Institute. Lovins spent several hours with the Rumsey Engineers team in a lively discussion of new frontiers and areas of opportunity in efficient design of mechanical systems. Mr. Lovins is a world renowned energy expert who has briefed 15 heads of state and received numerous awards including a MacArthur Fellowship, the Heinz Award, the Right Livelihood Award ('Alternative Nobel') and Time Hero for the Planet award.
