Meeting with Amory Lovins,
CEO of the Rocky Mountain Institute

Oakland, Calif—On May 31st of 2002, Rumsey Engineers office was honored
with a visit by Amory Lovins, CEO of the Rocky Mountain Institute. Lovins spent several hours with the Rumsey Engineers team in a lively discussion of new frontiers and areas of opportunity in efficient design of mechanical systems. Mr. Lovins is a world renowned energy expert who has briefed 15 heads of state and received numerous awards including a MacArthur Fellowship, the Heinz Award, the Right Livelihood Award ('Alternative Nobel') and Time Hero for the Planet award. The Wall Street Journal named Mr. Lovins one of 39 people worldwide 'most likely to change the course of business in the '90s.'; Newsweek has praised him as 'one of the Western world's most influential energy thinkers'
