Rumsey Engineers President to Speak at PG&E Education Program on Green Building HVAC Systems

Oakland, Calif.—Rumsey Engineers today announced that founder and president
Peter Rumsey will conduct a seminar at the Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E)
Education Program. Rumsey's presentation entitled "Beyond the Raised Floor: Green Building HVAC Systems" will be held at the Pacific Energy Center in San Francisco on March 6, 2003.

Although raised floor air distribution systems have received considerable attention recently, many other excellent HVAC options are available for green buildings. Rumsey's presentation will illustrate the benefits of other low energy use options that also provide good indoor air quality, and explain how solutions can be tailored to a specific building type, site, climate and architecture. The presentation is intended to promote discussion between architects, engineers, and building owners who participate in the early stages of project design.

Mr. Rumsey has over 20 years of experience covering a broad range of government, scientific and private sector projects. He has a mechanical engineering degree from U.C. Berkeley and is a registered mechanical engineer in Arizona, California, Idaho, Missouri, Oregon and Texas. He is a Certified Energy Manager and an active member in ASHRAE and Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). The AEE San Francisco Bay Area Chapter named Mr. Rumsey the Energy Engineer of the Year in 2001.
