Peter Rumsey to Lead Two Seminars at Greenbuild 2004 Conference

Oakland, Calif.—Rumsey Engineers today announced that founder and president
Peter Rumsey will be a speaker at two seminars at the Greenbuild International Conference to be held in Portland, Oregon this November. Mr. Rumsey joins an elite group of building design professionals giving educational sessions at Greenbuild, the green building industry's premier conference.

Presented on Wednesday, Nov. 10, Mr. Rumsey's session "Mechanical System Innovations in Institutional Buildings" will be held at 10:30 a.m., and the session "Integrated Design" will be held at 4 p.m. The conference will be held at the Oregon Convention Center in downtown Portland and is expected to draw thousands of attendees.

Peter Rumsey, PE, CEM, is an emerging leader in engineering design for sustainable buildings whose work has earned national recognition. He has a mechanical engineering degree from U.C. Berkeley and is a registered mechanical engineer in Arizona, California, Idaho, Missouri, Oregon and Texas. He is a Certified Energy Manager and an active member in ASHRAE and Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). Mr. Rumsey was the recipient of the Bay Area Energy Engineer of the Year award in 2001.
