Rumsey Engineers Announces New Business Development Director

Oakland, Calif.—Rumsey Engineers today announced the addition of Clifton Lemon as Business Development Director. Mr. Lemon joins the firm to assist in executing a growth plan that includes doubling the size of the firm in the next two to three years. According to Peter Rumsey, founder and president: “The opportunities for energy efficient design and green building today are unprecedented. Before joining Rumsey Engineers, Mr Lemon founded BrandSequence, a San Francisco based brand research and management firm. While at BrandSequence, he developed a unique brand research methodology and designed, conducted and directed hundreds of customer interviews across the U.S. with a broad spectrum of customers for clients including eBay, Accenture, Jossey Bass Wiley, Ex'pression College for Digital Arts, Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, TennisPlex, and Randall Whitehead Lighting Solutions. Before founding BrandSequence, he founded a full-service marketing communications firm, Lemon Design, in 1979 in San Francisco, which specialized in corporate identity, print collateral, web development, user interface design, advertising, and interactive media. He was also a director for Hirsch Bedner Associates, overseeing branding, identity, collateral and environmental graphics for large hotel projects in Australia, Hawaii, and Hong Kong.
